My new hybrid workout schedule is HERE – Body Beast LIIFT MORE Hybrid!

 

Most of you that have been following me over the years know that I am a big fan of Body Beast given my current goals for muscle hypertrophy to add lean mass, but I am also focused on promoting a low (healthy) body fat percentage and “functional” fitness performance. My experience with Body Beast has been excellent, but from my perspective it is lacking the cardio challenge I would like to see to further build well-rounded, balanced athletic endurance. As such, I have already created popular hybrids with MANY OTHER BEACHBODY PROGRAMS! LIIFT MORE has a comprehensive lifting focus combined with periodic High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) plus core in 5 days per week with flexible nutrition! Although LIIFT MORE primarily involves weights (more than LIIFT4), there are HIIT and burnout components to enhance the cardio challenge in the routines. First, I have to say LIIFT MORE will be great “as is” for most people. It is now the closest program I have found to my interests, goals and lifestyle. My new hybrid schedule is with LIIFT MORE and Body Beast!!

 

Body Beast LIIFT MORE Hybrid Deconstructed

 

Body Beast focuses on strength and mass gain with muscle-specific challenges via dynamic set training using weights. As mentioned, LIIFT MORE provides extra focus on developing strength, speed, cardio and athletic performance leveraging body weight and dumbbells to LIFT – HIIT (LIIFT) for elevated heart rates. I really like both programs a lot and after doing all 52 unique LIIFT MORE workouts I have realized that the program would align well in a hybrid format with Body Beast.

 

I decided to create this hybrid for myself to add in some more resistance variation with my favorite lifting workouts – Body Beast and LIIFT MORE. I added back one day of workouts each week, with 2 rest days per week still to facilitate recovery and your favorite activities. The hybrid is created leveraging the entire schedule from LIIFT MORE since they are ALL unique workouts. As such, the hybrid ends up being a more traditional 3 month focus. The LIIFT MORE weeks are broken up after each 2 week schedule that alternates LIFT and LIFT HIIT format for each muscle group. I also added in my favorite Body Beast TEMPO workouts and LIIFT MORE Express bonuses to finish the hybrid STRONG! Enjoy!!

 

Joel Freeman is a GREAT complement to Sagi Kalev in this hybrid. This may be one of the most effective hybrids I have created to date. What I love about Sagi’s Body Beast program is that the workouts focus on one or two SPECIFIC muscle groups and force failure to grow (you know, like life in general!). Joel Freeman also pushes you to fail from a strength, HIIT and core perspective using fast pacing between sets and blocks plus burnouts. That is why I was excited to create a Body Beast LIIFT MORE Hybrid to maximize results for muscle gain with hypertrophy while promoting functional fitness.

 

I am unaware of ANY Body Beast LIIFT MORE workout schedule for these programs yet (as of October 9, 2022) and certainly none yet that have been vetted from personal experience with EVERY workout on the schedule. I have done that, unlike those “random generator” hybrid schedulers out there that are different every time (and typically unsafe!). In this hybrid 50+ unique LIIFT MORE workouts are represented (including Upper and Lower Body Recovery). These programs are amazing on their own, but a Body Beast LIIFT MORE Hybrid allows you to build mass, get ripped and add functional strength and endurance aligned in ONE schedule (while having fun)!
