This program will be amazing, combining two of my all-time favorite programs including Body Beast and mass gain Hammer workouts from the Master’s Hammer and Chisel!
Body Beast HAMMER Hybrid Deconstructed
Body Beast focuses on strength and mass gain with muscle-specific challenges via dynamic set training, while Hammer and Chisel focuses on numerous total body endurance workouts to sculpt your masterpiece. I am a big fan of both programs, however, after doing all 19 Hammer and Chisel workouts I have realized that the program is not aligned with my current preferences for my workouts. I love many of the new Hammer workouts by Sagi Kalev in Hammer and Chisel, but they are all basically total body routines (and the Chisel workouts are even more-so). What I love about Sagi’s Body Beast program is that the workouts focus on one or two SPECIFIC muscle groups and force failure to grow (you know, like life in general!) That is why I was excited to create a Body Beast HAMMER hybrid to maximize results for muscle gain with hypertrophy.
From my perspective, Body Beast is still the best overall at-home, mass gain program with resistance training. I gained 12 pounds lean muscle mass at reduced body fat percentage with the Body Beast program. With that said, Body Beast may be limited in cardio endurance for many of the workouts. The Hammer workouts in Hammer and Chisel provide a significant cardio challenge based on my previous heart rate analysis. There are also some innovative new concepts for exercises to enhance time under tension and hypertrophy for mass gain. Thus, a hybrid of these two programs is the BEST of both worlds provided you bring your best with the workouts for gaining muscle mass each day and dial in your nutrition and supplements according to the plans to achieve your specific goals!
I am unaware of ANY Body Beast HAMMER hybrid schedule for these two programs and certainly none that have been vetted from personal experience with EVERY workout on the schedule. I have done that. These two workouts are amazing on their own, but a Body Beast Hammer hybrid of the two allows you to build more mass aligned in ONE schedule!
Nutrition is CRITICAL for getting the results you want with your fitness program and the targets need to be aligned with the clean eating system (Nutrition + Portion Fix recommended, but you may need to bump calories for mass gain depending on goals).
