My new hybrid workout schedule is HERE – Body Beast Tough Mudder T-Minus 30 Hybrid!

 

Most of you that have been following me over the years know that I am a big fan of Body Beast given my current goals for muscle hypertrophy to add lean mass, but I am also focused on promoting a low (healthy) body fat percentage and “functional” fitness performance. My experience with Body Beast has been excellent, but from my perspective it is lacking the cardio challenge I would like to see to further build well-rounded, balanced athletic endurance. As such, I have already created popular hybrids with MANY OTHER BEACHBODY PROGRAMS! I have used some of these hybrids in the past to prepare for mud races such as the Tough Mudder, which can push your overall athletic limits. As such, it is important to get your body ready in advance for these types of competitive races. Tough Mudder T-Minus 30 is an excellent stand-alone program to prepare for mud races or even just promote general health and fitness challenge. With that said, I had great results during my Tough Mudder race prep incorporating heavy weights via Body Beast to generate additional strength and power, including grip strength. This Body Beast Tough Mudder T-Minus 30 hybrid will be great for those training for a Tough Mudder or other competitive mud race to maximize strength, flexibility, agility and endurance during the obstacles and terrain!

 

Body Beast Tough Mudder T-Minus 30 Hybrid Deconstructed

 

Body Beast focuses on strength and mass gain with muscle-specific challenges via dynamic set training using weights, while Tough Mudder T-Minus 30 provides focus on developing speed, cardio, flexibility and athletic proficiency by leveraging body weight and dumbbells to elevate heart rates. I really like both programs a lot, to be honest, and after doing all 24 workouts from Tough Mudder T-Minus 30 I have realized that the program would align well in a hybrid format with Body Beast. Tough Mudder Champion Hunter McIntyre is a GREAT trainer complement to Sagi Kalev in this hybrid. This may easily be one of the most fun hybrids I have created to date. What I love about Sagi’s Body Beast program is that the workouts focus on one or two SPECIFIC muscle groups and force failure to grow (you know, like life in general!). Hunter also pushes you to fail from a cardio and strength intervals perspective with moves that target total body while maximizing ground strength. That is why I was excited to create a Body Beast Tough Mudder T-Minus 30 Hybrid to maximize results for muscle gain with hypertrophy while promoting functional fitness to enhance your results in mud/obstacle races!

 

I am unaware of ANY Body Beast Tough Mudder T-Minus 30 workout schedule for these two programs yet and certainly none yet that have been vetted from personal experience with EVERY workout on the schedule. I have done that, unlike those “random generator” hybrid schedulers out there that are different every time (and typically unsafe!). In this hybrid all 24 Tough Mudder T-Minus 30 workouts are represented, including pull-up and chin-up routines. The T-Minus 30 run training is optional and involves short interval, long and recovery runs. These two programs are amazing on their own, but a Body Beast Tough Mudder T-Minus 30 Hybrid of the two allows you to build mass, get ripped and add functional strength and endurance aligned in ONE schedule to dominate your Tough Mudder race, or, the race of life in general (while having fun)!
