How Do I Get Ripped?

P90X2 X2 Chest, Shoulders and Tris done. I used the new Beachbody E&E Energy and Endurance pre-workout formula for this workout. I took 1.5 scoops E&E 30 minutes before pressing play. The flavor is lemon lime and tasted good. I have experience with a range of pre-workout supplements including Superpump, No-Xplode, 1MR, Jack3D, etc. I was actually impressed with my first experience with Beachbody E&E. I felt a surge in energy and focus just prior to the workout and during the exercises. With some of the other products like Jack3D you get a range of sensation often even felt in your face (people have described it elegantly in terms of your face feeling like it is melting away, ha). So, I did not feel some of the negative side effects of some of the other pre-workout supplements while still getting the performance benefits. Time will tell what my favorite pre-workout will be but now it is between E&E and Superpump. With regard to the workout, X2 Chest, Shoulders and Tris is a GREAT workout (this is one of the extra DVDs for P90X2). It consisted of 11 moves repeated in two successive rounds. I was challenged by the range of med ball pushup variations, shoulder press movements and tricep-focused exercises. There are several 3-med ball moves that were difficult. For shoulder press strip sets I was in the 35-lb dumbbell range. And, yes, these are all on one leg. The Chattarocker pushups are an excellent move and I found that the faster you go, the better (like Tony). I was able to get 16 reps the second round. The 3-ball dip was a great addition to the end of the workout. Overall I really enjoyed this workout and look forward to pressing play AGAIN. Shakeology accountability – Piña-Banana – 1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology, ½ banana, ½ cup pineapple juice, ½ cup water and ice to taste. Awesome.
