7 years ago today I made a DECISION that changed EVERYTHING. I made a decision to commit to my own health and fitness (after years of neglect), and I made a decision to start my own business to help others do the same.
Although there was the potential to build a financial legacy, it was not even on my radar given all the years I spent earning my Ph.D., and then 10 YEARS of hard work climbing the Corporate ladder. I was doing well with my career and figured my side business was a nice source of additional income while staying on track with my own health goals.
Then life happened…
2 kids later and the tragic passing of my sister made me re-think what was REALLY important to me.
My family.
Thanks to the love and support of my wife Julia, friends, family, Beachbody Corporate, sponsor coach Nick and my strong/growing Team of business partners, TEAM RAGE, we were able to commit to making this “side business” a full-time venture from home to spend more time with family. It has been 2+ years since I retired my Ph.D. and demanding Corporate life (incl. stress/travel/politics). The priceless time I have spent with family these past 2 years, especially with the kids still young, has been life changing. A decision I will never regret. Life is not perfect, we still have similar challenges and struggles as you, but day-to-day life is SO much better for me now after my decision. I feel I am more focused on the right things and it is VERY rewarding to help others do the same.
